The World Series of Poker Online – Week 4

The recently concluded fourth week of the esteemed 4th annual World Series of Poker Online (WSOP-O) on GGPoker, was quite a spectacle. We're buzzing with excitement to report that an additional 3 World Series of Poker bracelets have found their proud owners, and intriguingly, another one is set to find its winner on September 21st. Furthermore, 1 bracelet was bestowed exclusively in the Ontario-based WSOP.
The fervor doesn't stop there. Day 1's for all of the remaining big events have sprung into action. This includes the much-anticipated event #28: WSOP Online Main Event with its promise of a $25,000,000 Million guarantee. It carries a $5,000 signaling high stakes and intense competition. There is also Event #33: GGMillion$ High Roller with a $10,000 buy-in and a $10 Million Guarantee.
On another front, the series witnessed the successful conclusion of 4 additional Continental freerolls. These events distributed an astonishing $210,000 in freeroll poker incentives. The participation saw just 2,890 poker enthusiasts diving in. Out of these, a considerable 698 players had a piece of the prize pool pies. A special mention goes to the 9 lucky entrants who locked down $10,000 packages for the exhilarating 2023 WSOP Paradise event.
Diving deeper into specific events, the week was set into motion with the WSOP Online Event #19: LUCKY SEVENS Bounty 7-Handed No Limit Hold’em. This competition, carrying a $777 entry tag, attracted 2,052 poker talents, accumulating a prize pool that soared to $1,514,683. While a generous 296 players found themselves in the money, the crown went to 'BAAABUUSKIIII', who not only secured the victory but also added a World Series of Poker bracelet to their accolades, along with a hefty sum of $60,969.89 plus an additional $89,040.85 in bounties.
WSOP Bracelet Events
The subsequent events in this week's WSOP Online series were, due to a technical issue, suspended and will finish this coming weekend. The first of the suspended events was Event #20: DOUBLE CHANCE No Limit Hold’em. This $1,000 buy-in event, which gave each player 2 stacks to work with, attracted 1,119 entrants to vie for the coveted WSOP Championship Bracelet and a collective prize pool of $1,063,050. The tournament was paused with just 20 players remaining as they fight to claim the top prize of $145,522.95. Each of the remaining players is guaranteed a minimum of $6,150.37. The chip leader when the tournament restarts is ‘MaShallah’ with 5,415,007 (77.4BB) in chips. Event # 21: WSOP GGMasters HR Freezeout No Limit Hold’em was also caught in the technical issues. With a $1,500 ticket price, even without any guarantee, this contest, so far, managed to find 1,023 contenders ready to pay the price to battle for supremacy and a WSOP Bracelet. When the tournament was paused, 950 players still remained in contention and late registration was still open. The prize pool currently stands at $1,457,775 and will only continue to grow. The current chip leader, ‘raMAINcALLINas’, is holding 38,786 chips (323.2BB) which is just under 4-times the starting stack.
