WSOP Super Circuit LatAm Arrives in Punta Cana, and GGPoker Is Your Way In

The first WSOP Super Circuit in Latin America is coming to Punta Cana. From January 24 through February 2, 2027, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino hosts 18 official WSOP Super Circuit gold ring events, including the $2,000,000 guaranteed Main Event. GGPoker is the only place to qualify online. Satellites open November 15, and WSOP Express starts at just $0.50.
18 Rings and One Big Main Event
The series runs for ten days with 18 ring events. Every winner takes home an official WSOP Super Circuit gold ring and a place in poker history, plus a $5,000 seat to WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas. The full schedule is available now.
The lineup suits a wide range of bankrolls and games, with buy-ins starting at $400 for the Mini Main Event and climbing to $25,000 for the Super High Roller. The series opens January 24 with the $500 Super Circuit Kickoff and the $5,000 Hard Rock High Roller. The $1,700 Caribbean Circuit Championship follows on January 25, and the $10,000 GGMillion$ High Roller starts on January 26. Omaha fans will have four Pot-Limit Omaha events, including a $500 Double Board Bomb Pot, and there will be bounty formats running throughout the series, including the $800 Deepstack Bounty Turbo and the $1,000 Mystery Bounty.
But the centerpiece is the $3,500 Main Event, which runs January 28 to February 2. Players can enter through one of three starting flights, with Day 1A on January 28, Day 1B on January 29, and Day 1C on January 30. Because this is the first Super Circuit in the region, the players who win here will be the first names in a new chapter of WSOP history. That chance only comes once.
The series closes on February 2 with the $2,500 Super Turbo Bounty and the $1,000 Series Saver, so there is a final shot at a ring on the last day.

Winter in Punta Cana, All Inclusive
The series takes place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, and the timing is part of the appeal. Late January through early February is the middle of winter for most of Canada and Europe, which makes this a poker trip and a winter vacation in one. Getting there is simple too, with over 50 airports across Canada, the EU, and Latin America offering direct flights to Punta Cana.
The resort is an amazing all-inclusive property with 1,882 guest rooms. Every suite has a balcony or terrace and a Hydro Spa Tub. Rooms are opulent with Egyptian cotton bedding, a 55-inch flat-screen TV, wireless internet, and a minibar stocked with sodas, bottled water, and domestic beer. In-room dining and evening turn-down service are available, and calls to the U.S. and Canada are free.
Between poker sessions, you can choose from 9 restaurants, 23 bars and lounges, and 13 pools. Ciao serves Italian, Zen serves Asian cuisine and sushi, and Toro serves steak. Nightly entertainment keeps the resort lively after the tables close. Meals and drinks are included, except at concessionaires and restaurants inside the casino.
Online qualifiers get a package built around that stay: the $3,500 Main Event buy-in, $3,000 for hotel expenses, and $2,000 in hotel credits for the 10 days.
Prefer to book direct? The 10-night plus Main Event package costs $7,500 on the Hard Rock Punta Cana website. It includes the buy-in, all-inclusive lodging at $399 per night, and $200 in resort credit per night. Bringing company is easy as well. Additional guests pay $143 per night for adults and $55 for children aged 4 to 11.

How to Win Your Package
GGPoker satellites run daily from November 15 through January 10. They work as steps: start with a small buy-in, win a seat into the next step, and keep climbing until the final awards a full package. Two steps run every day (all times are UTC+0).
Step One
- $5 Step to $50: 13:40 to 16:40, 2 seats guaranteed into the next step
- $50 Step to $500: 15:00 to 18:00, 1 seat guaranteed
- $500 Final: 18:00, 1 package guaranteed
Step Two
- $3 Step to $25: 17:40 to 21:40, 2 seats guaranteed
- $25 Step to $215: 19:00 to 23:00, 1 seat guaranteed
- $215 Final: 23:00, 1 package guaranteed
Sundays add more chances. The $500 Sunday Final guarantees 5 packages, and the $215 Sunday Final guarantees 3. Two Freebuy tournaments with a $1 rebuy also run on Sundays. The 15:30 Freebuy guarantees two $50 Step tickets, and the 20:30 Freebuy guarantees five $25 Step tickets.
The best way in is WSOP Express, which starts at $0.50. It is built so that skill, and not bankroll size, decides who gets to compete. The path has four steps:
- Step 1: An All-In or Fold Sit & Go for $0.50. It is a 4-max game where every hand is all-in or fold, and each player starts with three stacks. The prize is a Step 2 Ticket.
- Step 2: A 6-max Spin & Gold for $2. The wheel sets the payout, from a Step 2 Ticket up to a $30,000 Super Pass, and the blinds and stacks increase with the prize.
- Step 3: A Target Stack Turbo for $10. It starts once 8 players register, with 10 minutes of late registration. As soon as you reach the Target Stack, you receive a Step 4 Ticket.
- Step 4: A regular tournament for $150 or a Step 4 Ticket. The prize is a Super Pass, Bracelet Pass, Ring Pass, or Step Ticket, depending on the event you choose and total entries. Each pass can be redeemed for a WSOP package.
The WSOP Express path also leads straight to Punta Cana. Starting December 6, it offers the 2027 WSOP Super Circuit LatAm $3,500 Ticket, which includes the Main Event Day 1A buy-in, Platinum membership access, and exclusive GGPoker x WSOP merchandise.
Qualifying online has one more perk once you are at the tables. The online qualifier who lasts the longest in the Main Event will earn T$5,000 from the GG Last Longer challenge, so a deep run comes with a bonus waiting at the end of it, but you have to wear your GGPoker patch.
Satellites open November 15, the Main Event starts January 28, and somewhere between a $0.50 Sit & Go and a $215 final is the seat that gets you to Punta Cana. Players will win their way in online, fly south to escape the middle of winter, and compete for the first gold rings ever awarded at a Super Circuit in Latin America. The only question is whether you will be one of them.
