DIMOV DOES IT AGAIN! Bulgarian Legend Claims FIFTH GGMillion$ Title With $339K Fearless Victory

GGMillion$ Won by Fearless Dimov After Late Drama – GGMillion$ Season 2025 Episode 38
The Bulgarian player Ognyan Dimov won this week’s GGMillion$ after a stunning late show that saw him defeat Martin Finger despite the Austrian enjoying a large heads-up lead. Dimov, who started with the most chips, ended with them all after a performance for the ages, defeating a comeback king after other legends fell at the final table felt.

Who Were the Pre-Match Betting Favorites?
Going into the action at the final table, a closely packed field saw Bulgarian Ognyan Dimov lead the way with 69 big blinds, making him a betting favorite on GGPoker at odds of 4.88. Second in chips was the Brazilian Alisson Piekazewicz with 56 big blinds, but having only played in 43 GGMillion$ events compared to the 166 participated in by third-placed Ottomar Ladva. The Estonian’s stack of 52 bigs priced him at 5.72, slightly shorter than the 5.96 on offer for Piekazewicz.
Other players in contention for the top prize included the Belarusian player Yahor Dambrouski, who had 45 big blinds and was at odds of 7.92. Thai player ‘Karma is a Cat’ (44BB / 7.44) was only a single big blind behind him and shorter odds. Austrian Martin Finger (35BB / 9.7) was a great value given his vast tournament experience and our number one pick for the win.
Behind Finger, Polish player ‘Dinoreg’ (31BB / 10.18) was hoping that experience didn’t count for too much, the opposite wish to the Montenegrin Dejan Kalajurdjevic, who had 28 big blinds and was good value himself at 11.5. In fact, Kalajurdjevic was our pick for outsider of the week to win the GGMillion$ outright. The short stack was the most experienced GGMillion$ player, but even though Brazil’s Rodrigo Selouan was an end boss, his starting stack of just 11 big blinds marked him out as someone who would need more than a bit of luck to win, and he was available at odds of 29.1.

Key Moments from the Felt
Unsurprisingly, Selouan was the first player to leave the action, but the hand itself was a classic. (45:30) Weighing up a bet on the turn of a board showing Q-J-3-T, Selouan held two pair with queen-ten but was crushed by the eight-nine of Ottomar Ladva. The GTO Wizard suggested a shove on 4th street, but Selouan bet small instead. Ladva followed the advice and shoved. Selouan called it off, needing a queen or ten to survive. A deuce on the river ended his hopes of a comeback, as he cashed for $48,396.
Soon after (50:00), ‘Dinoreg’ ran into a monster as he fell victim to the ‘Curse of the Mystery Hand’. Holding top pair, top kicker on the flop, the Polish player had the best of it until the river, when Ognyan Dimov’s queen-nine of spades, which found a miraculous king of spades, with “Dinoreg’ held the ace blocker, for the nut flush.

After ‘Dinoreg’s departure in eighth place for $61,723, Dejan Kalajurdjevic busted in seventh place for $78,720 as the Montenegrin’s top pair on the flop ran into the pocket kings belonging to Dambrouski. Ottomar Ladva was eliminated next, losing his final chips when he moved all-in with 7-6 against Piakazewicz’s Q-J. The flop gave the Estonian a straight draw, but a jack on the turn and five on the river sealed his fate as he finished seventh for $100,397.
After ‘Karma is a Cat’ busted next, finishing in fifth for $128,044, when their flush and straight draws were beaten by Martin Finger’s made hand, four remained, with the Austrian out in front. Belarussian player Yahor Dambrouski was the next to go, exiting in fourth place for $163,304 after an ill-timed shove with jack-nine of spades. Dimov had the simplest of calls in the next seat with ace-king. A board of Q-8-8-2-A sent the Belarusian home and gave the overnight leader, Dimov, a slight lead at a critical time.

A big flop brought about the heads-up battle (2:48:10) as Finger shoved pre-flop with pocket threes and Piekazewicz called with a suited ace-five, only to be unable to catch a card on the crucial coinflip. That hand gave Finger the lead going into the final duel, and the Austrian almost sealed the deal on the third hand, as he called a shove with pocket nines after Dimov pushed with ace-queen. Instead, a queen on the flop gave the Bulgarian overnight leader a massive double-up and made him a 3:1 favorite. Just a few hands later, Dimov flopped Broadway before Finger turned two-pair queens and fours. (2:52:30)
“This is like Teddy KGB, this is Chan-Seidel!” laughed Jeff Gross. All the chips went in from Dimov on the rivered eight, and Finger called it off to his doom, awarding Dimov his fifth GGMillion$ title in style!

This Week’s GGMillion$ Results – October 28th, 2025
A stunning hand ended matters in Dimov’s favor after the man with the most chips at the start of play went wire-to-wire despite losing the lead for much of the final table.
“He’s absolutely fearless, he goes for the win,” said Eric Yanovsky on co-comms about the Bulgarian’s style of play that helped him win.

Domination from the Leader When it Mattered
When it came down to those fine margins in a tight field, Jeff Gross and Eric Yanovsky both agreed that the leader’s fearless nature led to victory.
“[Dimov] was well aware of ICM, but he’s been doing this for so long at a high level at high stakes,” said Yanovsky. “He feels very comfortable and confident. He’s a lights-out player.”
It was impossible to say that wasn’t the case. Time and again, Dimov was the player who pushed harder for the win than others, most of whom appeared happy to ladder with so much money on the line.
Jeff Gross was of the same feeling, calling Dimov’s display ‘special’.
“That was a wall-to-wall performance.” He said.
