Explanation of the GGMillion$ Final Table Violation (November 11, 2025)

November 13, 2025 2 min Read

GGPoker has permanently banned two players following an account-sharing violation detected during the GGMillion$ tournament. Our security team identified the breach before the final table on November 11, 2025, and took immediate action to protect the integrity of the competition.

What Happened

During Day 1 of the GGMillion$ tournament on November 9, 2025, our security team identified that the account “Hinaru” was being played by someone other than the registered account holder. The investigation confirmed that another player had been using Hinaru’s account throughout the tournament, a practice known as “ghosting.”

This constitutes a clear violation of GGPoker’s Security and Ecology Policy, which prohibits account sharing under any circumstances. Every player must compete on their own account—no exceptions.

Actions Taken

Upon confirming the violation, we acted immediately:

Account Status:

  • Hinaru’s account was blocked before the final table began
  • The player who used Hinaru’s account was also blocked and permanently banned
  • Both parties are barred from GGPoker and all affiliated platforms

Tournament Impact:

  • Hinaru entered the final table as chip leader but was blinded out during the live stream on November 11, 2025
  • The account was unable to take any action at the final table

Player Restitution:

  • $115,752.22 will be redistributed to affected players according to GGPoker’s reconciliation policy

Why This Matters

This case demonstrates GGPoker’s commitment to proactive enforcement. Our security systems and investigation protocols identified this violation before the final table, not after the tournament concluded. We took action while the event was still in progress to prevent an ineligible player from competing for prize money.

Account sharing and ghosting undermine competitive integrity. When one player competes under another’s account, it creates unfair advantages and damages trust in the game. We will not allow this on our platform.

Our Commitment to Fair Play

GGPoker employs comprehensive monitoring systems designed to detect suspicious activity and policy violations. Our security team continuously reviews gameplay patterns, account behavior, and other indicators to identify potential breaches.

When violations are detected, we investigate thoroughly and act decisively. This includes:

Immediate action to prevent violators from continuing in tournaments.

Bans for those who breach our policies

Full restitution to ensure honest players receive the prize money they’ve earned

Every player deserves to compete on equal terms. Our security measures exist to protect that principle and maintain the integrity that makes competitive poker meaningful.

Final Word

Account sharing and ghosting are serious violations with permanent consequences. Players who attempt to circumvent our rules will be caught and removed from our platform and affiliated partners.

GGPoker remains committed to providing a fair, secure, and competitive environment. We will continue to invest in detection systems, enforce our policies consistently, and take action—before, during, or after events—to protect game integrity.

Case Summary:

  • Incident Date: November 9, 2025, GGMillion$ Day 1
  • Final Table Date: November 11, 2025
  • Violation: Account Sharing / Ghosting
  • Hinaru: Permanently banned (account blocked before final table)
  • Player who used Hinaru’s account: Permanently banned
  • Player Restitution: $115,752.22 redistributed per reconciliation policy
