The GG Online Championship has been running for 11 days and guaranteed over $50 Million. In that time, with 58 events and 172 tournaments having been completed, $63,922,622.50 has already been won. With 16 days, 249 tournaments and $100 Million guaranteed, there is still a ton of poker still to be played.

This week is looking to be another massive one with almost $50 Million in guarantees including the biggest guarantee of the series, the $10,300 Super MILLION$ High Roller Main Event. The final day of this event begins Sunday, May 22 at 16:00 UTC and carries an enormous $10,000,000 guarantee. At the time of writing this entry, there were still 7 Day 1’s available for this tournament with a multitude of step satellites for each Day 1. This giant of a guarantee will be one for the books and one you most certainly want to scoop a part of the guaranteed prize pool.

While you are playing in your choice of events this week, waiting for the big one on Sunday, don’t forget to check out all of the GG Online Championship action at  GGPoker.TV, the best spot to stream some of the biggest online poker games.

This past week also saw a lot of movement on the three leaderboards. On the Low Tier, last week’s runner-up, ‘BeardOilGuy’ did manage to close the gap of 68 points to 54 points behind the leader, ‘Kong Fuzi’. Unfortunately they also dropped to 3rd and 4th place. The new leader on the Leaderboard is ‘BigBluff’ who holds a meager 13 points ahead of 2nd place ‘goosebumps4’ and almost 100 over ‘Kong Fuzi’.
Movement on the Medium Tier leaderboard occurred all below last week’s leader, ‘Joao Simoa’. The 262 point lead ‘Joao Simoa’ held over second place increased to 380, giving him a semi-comfortable lead for top prize at this tier.

Meanwhile, the High and Super High Leaderboard Tier saw some major shakeups. The top 3 last week, ‘Wei Zhao’, ‘danludan’ and ‘rivfun4me’, were separated by just 10 points. While ‘rivfun4me’ managed to almost double his points, he still dropped to 11th on the leaderboard. This is significantly better than what happened to ‘Wei Zhao’ who dropped to 60th and out of the money. The 2nd place player from last week, ‘danludan’ managed to survive most of the shake up, dropping only one place to 3rd. The current leader, ‘Chris Rudolph’ had one incredible week as he now finds himself 65 points ahead of 2nd and 150 ahead of 3rd. There is still a lot more poker to play and more movement to be had. Keep working hard and you’ll find yourself on the leaderboard.

Monster Monday

After the amazing weekend, the GG Online Championship is starting the week with only 3 events for a total of 10 tournaments and almost $3,000,000 in guarantees. More than enough to ensure at least some players don’t hate Mondays.

The first event of the day is Event #56 Bounty Hunters. This edition of the Bounty Hunter will run at all 4 tiers starting at 16:30 UTC. The Low, Medium, High and Super High carry buy-ins of $5.25, $52.50, $525 and $5,250 respectively and share a guaranteed prize pool of $1,190,000.

At 18:00 UTC Event #57 Monday Monster Stack is set to begin. Having a starting stack of 300BB and blind levels up to 15 minutes, this event has turned the double scoop into a monstrous scoop and one you should not miss. Even more exciting, the three tournaments have guarantees of $100K, $300K and $500K with respective buy-ins of $25, $150 and $1,050.

The final event for Monday is Event #58 Bounty Big Game. Offering $750,000 in guarantees over the 3 tournaments, scooping up your opponents bounties is a great way to end the day.

Until tomorrow, may the cards ever be in your favor!

Tremendous Tuesday

Over $5 Million. We hope that sounds good because that is what is guaranteed today, Tuesday, May 17 including 2 more Super High tournaments and 1 $1,000,000 guarantee. All of that and it’s only Tuesday.

We start the day at 14:30 UTC with the Tuesday Throwdown. These 7-max bounty tournaments, with buy-ins at $8.40, $84 and $840 and guarantees totaling $490,000, ease you into a busy Tuesday.

Event #60 Bounty Hunters is the first of 2 events with tournaments at all 4 tiers. With deeper stacks than the Tuesday Throwdown and over $1 Million in guarantees over the 4 tournaments, this is the perfect event for the Hunter.

The next 2 events are both straight up Hold’em. Event #61 Super Tuesday is the second offering on the day with all 4 tiers of buy-ins while Event #62 High Rollers offers 3 big buy-ins. The first of the events begins at 18:00 UTC with the Low tier buy-in set at $25 and has a $2 Million guarantee over the 4 tournaments.
